Cheerful good looking manWho doesn’t want to look great every day? But when life gets in the way, you might forget to take care of yourself enough so that you look stunning even when you’re just out for groceries.

It’s largely about aesthetics, of course, but the effects of looking great go beyond that. When you look good, you may feel better about yourself and have a healthier outlook on life.

Here are some ways to look your best every single day of the week.:

Eat Plenty of Fruits and Vegetables

Fruits and vegetables are responsible for making your skin look better and younger. Grapes, for example, contain something called sorbitol, which makes them sweet. Sorbitol attracts water and keeps your skin looking moisturised and hydrated.

Get a Good Tan

You may be concerned about how pale you are when you look in the mirror. To give the appearance of a more active lifestyle, Bali Body recommends getting some good ol’ Australian sun tanning with some organic tanning oils.

Here’s a tip: Exfoliate before you go out to tan your skin. Exfoliating removes old and dead skin cells, so when you tan after exfoliating, fresh skin cells get tanned and last longer.

Always Cleanse and Moisturise

When you come home tired, you might be tempted to skip the cleansing and go straight to bed. All the germs on your skin have the entire night to multiply and do some damage. Always wash your face with a gentle cleanser (not soap) which doesn’t dry out your skin. Moisturise day and night, and more often when you’re at the beach.

Don’t Skimp on Hair Products

Don’t buy the cheapest hair products you can find. Quality costs money, and the pricier products are often safer and better for your hair and scalp. Use some deep conditioning regularly so your hair doesn’t dry out. If you have a problem with thinning hair, lighter hair colour can help hide the problem.

Get Some Rest and Exercise

Exercising releases happy hormones (serotonin), which can also give your skin a healthy glow. Exercise also gets your blood flowing, bringing more oxygen and nourishment to your skin. About 15 to 20 minutes a day is all you need to get the juices flowing.

Don’t forget to rest, too. Sleep is important for every cell in your body. Sleep deprivation is one sure way to make your skin look older.

It doesn’t take a lot to look great every day, but it does take some discipline. Follow these pieces of advice so you can wake up to a renewed you every day.
